ABOUT JUNBO
Junbo Qiu is a Chinese writer-director based in the UK. His films explore humanity through poetic and imaginative lenses, often blending speculative concepts with emotional intimacy and depth.
He earned his BA from the Beijing Film Academy and his MA in Directing Fiction from the highly selective National Film and Television School in the UK.
His work has been screened at Academy Award- and BAFTA-qualifying festivals in different countries, and has received multiple international awards. His sci-fi short has been broadcast on China Central Television Movie Channel (CCTV-6).
